Danish life science firms boosted by currency tailwind

The US dollar has gotten even stronger in past weeks, which is increasing the yield for life science firms based in Denmark that are generating dollar sales.

On Tuesday, the US dollar continued its remarkable advance and is now only a hair’s breadth from reaching parity with the euro. This development is wind in the sails for Danish life science firms generating dollar sales.

”The marked dollar strength is generally good news for Danish export, not least for investing purposes for life science firms like Novo Nordisk, Lundbeck, Coloplast, Demant, and more, for which the US is the most important market and which are booking sales in dollars,” writes Nordnet Investment Economist Per Hansen.
