Life science firms are planning USD 6.3bn construction spree in Denmark

Fujifilm’s expansion to its factory in Hillerød means that the life science sector has announced DKK 12bn (USD 1.7bn) in facility investments in Denmark since May.

Danish and international life science firms are the source of a veritable construction boom in Denmark.

On Wednesday, Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies announced that it was spending DKK 11bn (USD 1.5bn) on expanding its factory in Hillerød. This came after 16 other investments in facilities in Denmark were announced.
