Analyst: Strong Sonova advance indicates improved market

The world’s biggest hearing aid manufacturer is expecting to increase sales by 17–21% in 2022/2023, which is a testament to a strong hearing aid market going forward, says an analyst.

On Tuesday, Swiss Sonova, the world’s biggest hearing aid manufacturer, released its figures for the financial year 2021/2022, surpassing analysts’ estimations for the firm’s sales in particular.

Still, Sonovas’s solid performance isn’t likely to have an impact on the stocks of other industry players, including GN Hearing and Demant, according to Sydbank Senior Equity Analyst Søren Løntoft Hansen.
