HERA calls for participation from life science industry

A new advisory forum under the EU’s health emergency preparedness authority, HERA, is opening the doors for industry players to have a voice in the union’s future health crisis management. The proposal is a step in the right direction, say one industry association and Bavarian Nordic.

BRUSSELS – When the EU has to monitor critical medical supplies, like vaccines, in the future, it will need the help of life science firms operating in the region, according to a Wednesday news release from the European Commission.
