Scandalized hearing firm Eargo fires one fourth of employees

A threat of potential delisting in the US looms on the horizon, and an investigation concerning alleged reimbursement fraud is pending. Now, hearing aid manufacturer Eargo, led by Danish CEO Christian Gormsen, is cutting its US workforce.

US-based hearing aid manufacturer Eargo, which is spearheaded by Danish national Christian Gormsen, is in troubled waters.

The firm is currently at the center of an investigation concerning potential reimbursement fraud, and the New York stock exchange Nasdaq has also threatened to delist the company should it fail to file a missing third quarterly report.
