Novo Nordisk donates millions to Gaza and Israel

Novo Nordisk donates insulin and a total of DKK 6m to emergency aid targeted at the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Israel, Finans.dk writes.

Novo Nordisk informs the news outlet that the company is donating 400,000 vials of human insulin to the region as well as DKK 2m to both the World Health Oganization (WHO) and the Red Cross. In addition, Novo Nordisk’s Israeli branch has donated almost DKK 2m to hospitals and relief organizations in Israel, the company says. 

According to Finans.dk, Novo Nordisk’s owner, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, has also donated DKK 15m to the WHO and the World Food Program (WFP).
