
BRUSSELS – The lack of qualified employees for the safety approval process of medical equipment meant for the European market hasn't flown unnoticed under the radar of one of the central actors in the process, the European Commission, a spokesperson tells MedWatch.
The spokesperson says that Brussels has "been made aware of certain challenges in connection with the education and retention of the required number of employees."
