EU readies new lawsuit against Astrazeneca over vaccines

An unnamed source reveals that the new lawsuit revolves around the financial part of the agreement and might enable fines.

The EU Commission will soon launch another lawsuit against pharmaceutical company Astrazeneca, according to Reuters referencing a spokesperson within the Commission.

Astrazeneca has been criticized for dragging its feet in delivering coronavirus vaccines to the EU countries, and this will be the second litigation filed against the company by the Commission.
