EU expects new portal for clinical trials will be ready in early 2022

In less than a year, the EU expects to launch a new IT system which will make it easier to register clinical trials.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has announced that it expects to launch the new EU portal Clinical Trial Information System (CTIS) on Jan. 31 2022 following a meeting this week in which the board verified that that the it system lives up to the agreed-on requirements, according to the EMA's website.
