Medtech firm to test whether hospital textiles can be reused

Abena, which develops products used in hospitals including waste disposal solutions, bedding and sanitary products, will test whether materials from clothing, sheets and pillowcases can be reused.

A new trial at hospitals in Slagelse, Næstved and Ringsted will explore the possibility of reusing clothing, sheets and pillowcases that were initially designed for single-use purposes at hospitals, reports Danish national broadcaster DR.
