Smith & Nephew revenue better than expected, but operating result disappoints

UK-based medtech firm Smith & Nephew, which competes with Coloplast, has reported a revenue that surpasses analysts' expectations, but the operating result is underwhelming.

Smith & Nephew, a UK-based company which makes products including bandages and creams, has released its half-year report for 2021.

The report showed a revenue that was better than expected, but a disappointing operating result, Bloomberg News reports after collecting consensus data.
