
Yesterday, rumors that audio firm Bose was pulling the plug on its healthcare division, which markets the firm’s hearing aids, were seemingly confirmed by The Boston Globe, citing former and outgoing employees.
Bose was the first to gain market clearance by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a direct-to-consumer, self-fitting hearing aid targeting the upcoming over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aid sales channel in the US.
