Negative impact on Demant from Russia's war won't get any worse, says CEO

The hearing aid manufacturer has already written off its activities in Russia, which is why the ongoing conflict won’t end up affecting the company more than the DKK 100m (USD 14m) negative impact it has already accounted for.

Demant has put a figure on how much it expects to be affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the subsequent effects of war, in 2022 -- a negative impact of DKK 100m (USD 14m) on the firm’s operating result.

In Tuesday’s first quarterly report, Demant maintained its full-year guidance after having calculated this impact into its expectations.
