Demant to divest hearing implant division to Cochlear

Hearing aid manufacturer Demant has announced it will sell its hearing implant business, Oticon Medical, to Cochlear for a total sum of DKK 850m (USD 121.5m). (Updated)

On Wednesday, hearing aid manufacturer Demant has announced its intention to divest its hearing implant business, Oticon Medical, which was established in 2007, the company reports in a press release.
