Last month proved good for Sivantos, which is part of the merged firm WS Audiology alongside Danish Widex. The hearing aid manufacturer more than doubled its market share with the public sales channel in the US Veterans Affairs (VA), which fits hearing aids for US military veterans, rising to 10.31 percent from 4.85 percent, measured by the amount out of total sales.

Denmark-based Demant went back slightly, landing on 14.99 percent compared to October's 15.06 percent. Danish GN Hearing receded from 10.18 percent to 8.76 percent, putting it in last place among the five hearing healthcare firms supplying VA.
