GN Hearing eyes opportunities for new product in coming US sales channel

The hearing aid maker forecasts fine chances to sell its new hybrid product, Jabra Enhance Plus, in a soon-to-open sales avenue for cheap hearing aids in the US. "We hold an excellent product from which we think many people could benefit," says CEO Gitte Aabo.

Denmark's GN Hearing eyes high chances of commercial success in the US channel for cheap over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids, guidelines for which are expected to be issued this autumn.

"We have seen what inhibits people from using a hearing aid despite them being aware of hearing loss and experiencing situations with difficulty in following conversations," says GN Hearing Chief Executive Gite Aabo to MedWatch.
