Novo Nordisk on use of wild monkeys in animal testing: It's been stopped

The capture of wild monkeys for experiments at Novo Nordisk only happened in the acquired company, Dicerna, and the situation has now been rectified - but similar situations may happen again.

Novo Nordisk no longer uses monkeys from the wild for clinical testing, Novo Nordisk states in an email to MedWatch, where the pharmaceutical company explains that this has only been done in the part of the company that Novo Nordisk took over in connection with the acquisition of American Dicerna.
