CHMP recommends seven new drugs - approves first crispr treatment

Four already approved medicines are recommended for use in new indications, while GSK has had a conditional marketing authorization withdrawn.

The European Medicines Agency’s expert committee, the CHMP, gave a positive opinion on seven new medicines at its November meeting, bringing the number of new medicines in 2023 to 77, according to a meeting summary published on Friday. The meeting is the CHMP’s last in 2023.
