Infosys inks EUR 110m deal to acquire Base life science

The Indian tech firm is seeking to expand its life science expertise by buying the Danish consulting firm.

Infosys, an Indian technology firm publicly listed on the New York exchange, is set to acquire Danish life science consulting firm Base Life Science for EUR 110m, as reported by media The Economic Times.

“Over the last five years, Base life science has delivered tremendous growth, and created a stellar life science consulting firm in Europe. With Infosys as our catalyst, we will be able to accelerate our expansion internationally and create development opportunities for our people,” says Martin Woergaard, chief executive of Base life science, in the Infosys press release announcing the acquisition.
