Novo Holdings portfolio company sold to US buyer

Six years after Biophero was established, the Danish firm has been acquired by a US-based group.

Danish company Biophero has been sold to US-based group FMC for USD 200m.

Biophero is based in Copenhagen and was established in 2016 by Irina Borodina, a scientist with a Ph.D. in biotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
