Over half of all adults in the EU are now fully vaccinated against covid-19

"We are now one of the world regions that has vaccinated the most people," says a spokesperson for the EU Commission.

The vaccine rollout in the EU is going in the right direction, as 200 million residents are now fully vaccinated.

That equates to over half of the adult population of the union, spokesperson Dana Spinant reports.
