EU Parliament adopts public health data space

The legislation will also simplify the transfer of health data between professionals when people move between member states.

Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) voted on Wednesday to create a European Health Data Space to improve citizens’ access to their own health data and ensure that they have access to health information, a press release from the EU Parliament informs.
