
Astrazeneca must live up to the contract which the vaccine manufacturer has entered into with the EU, before exporting more vaccines out of its EU-based factories, says President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen after an EU summit on Thursday evening.
"I think it is clear that first of all the company has to catch up. It has to honour the contract it has with European member states before it can engage again in exporting vaccines," says von der Leyen.
