Danish government hesitant to rein in EU health response even though industry calls for it
The Danish government will need more information before deciding whether Denmark will try to rein in a new EU agency to coordinate the EU's future health response, so it would be on Danish soil.

"The [Danish] government has not yet decided whether Denmark will opt to host Hera. The government will consider this in the near future," reads an email sent to MedWatch' sister media PolicyWatch from the Danish Ministry of Health.
Bavarian Nordic’s smallpox vaccine Imvanex has previously been used off-label to protect close contacts from monkeypox in several countries. The Danish vaccine firm is now working with the EMA to expand the label in an ”accelerated process.”
