Danske Bank predicts bumps ahead for Ambu despite strong start to financial year

An easy basis for comparison is part of the positive narrative of Ambu’s first quarter results, and according to the Danish bank, this will become more difficult in future reports.

Medical device company Ambu outperformed expectations on all financial metrics in the first quarter. According to Danish bank Danske Bank, the lack of an upward revision means that an upgrade in expectations is more likely to land in the second quarter of 2023/24, say analysts Christian Ryom and Thomas Bowers following Ambu’s first-quarter report on Tuesday.
