EU expresses concern toward Edwards Lifesciences after unannounced visit

It is the company’s patent practices and anti-copying policy that the European Commission is concerned about.

US medtech company Edwards Lifesciences was subject to an unannounced inspection by the European Commission in September amid suspicions that the company is exploiting its dominant market position in violation of EU rules.
