European Council formally adopts extended MDR transition

A unanimous vote has solidified an extension before manufacturers have to comply with new rules for certifying medical device regulation.

The last hurdle, a formality only, has been cleared allowing for an extension before new deadlines are imposed by the Medical Device Regulation for the certification of new medical equipment in the EU.
