Medtech company Coloplast’s acquisition of Atos Medical may mean a DKK 500m (USD 71m) bill for the Danish firm, which will be obliged to pay for Atos’s brushes with US law.

Through its acquisition Atos Medical, Coloplast is taking over a complex case from the firm, which was previously owned by an equity fund – a case which could cost Coloplast DKK 500m (USD 71m).
