Ambu expands single-use endoscopy target market with new feature

Ambu will address over one million more procedures within its ear, nose and throat segment by adding a new capability to its single-use endoscope.

Ambu will increase options on the ear, nose and throat (ENT) endoscopy market with a new product feature for its single-use endoscope, the medtech company has announced in a press release.

By adding a new feature, Ambu’s single-use scope and its accompanying monitor, dubbed Ascope 4 Rhinolaryngo Slim and Aview 2 Advance HD monitor, will support the imaging procedure known as Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), meaning that Ambu will address an additional one million procedures within the ENT segment every year, according to the announcement.
