Britt Meelby Jensen steps down as CEO of Atos Medical

On the day that Coloplast announces the completion of the acquisition of Atos Medical, Britt Meelby Jensen announces her departure as the Swedish company’s CEO. Seasoned Coloplast leader steps in to fill the position.

After three years at the front of Swedish medtech company Atos Medical, Britt Meelby Jensen has set the date for when she will leave the company, a press release announces.

On March 1, 2022, the former Zealand Pharma CEO steps back from the position in Atos Medical, which Coloplast acquired for EUR 2.2bn in November. The news of Meelby Jensen’s exit is announced on the same day that Coloplast announces that the acquisition has been formally completed, and Atos Medical is now officially a part of the Coloplast group.
