Policy Director at Danish NGO Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke Lars Koch thinks that Coloplast is playing to the gallery by claiming it wants to increase the transparency of its taxation outside of Denmark, but at the same time, refusing to publish more information than the minimum requirements of an upcoming EU directive.

This comes after the medtech company has said it will not publish tax reports for its operations in Costa Rica, which was included on an EU tax haven watch list in October.
