Novo Holdings sees golden opportunity in dialysis company, contributes to USD 245m investment

Novo Holdings has coinvested alongside a group of current and new investors in Quantra Dialysis Technologies, who are injecting a total of USD 245m into the UK-based firm.

It seemed as though Novo Holdings had ended the first half of 2021 with a bang, when it purchased diagnostics firm BBI Group last week, but the company has pulled out its checkbook again in a final flourish for the quarter.

Novo Holdings, which owns Novo Nordisk, is playing a central role in a series D funding round which has brought in USD 245m (DKK 1.5bn) to UK medtech company Quantra Dialysis Technologies.
