Demant completes divestment of cochlear division
Demant has now completed the divestment of its cochlear implant business to Cochlear, the company announced on Tuesday morning.
”This is in line with expectations and during the transition period we will work closely with Cochlear to ensure a smooth and orderly transition so that Cochlear can continue to serve the existing cochlear implant patients,” Demant writes.
This is according to plan, as it was previously announced that the divestment was expected to be completed in the second quarter.
After the completion of the divestment, Hearing Implants is expected to generate a result of 0 in 2024.
