In January 2023, Pernille Illum’s boyfriend showed her a series of sensational emails that a former colleague had just forwarded. The original sender was a senior executive at hearing aid group Demant, and in the email correspondence - which had been sent to contacts throughout the company - the person made spectacular accusations of management failure in the Diagnostics arm of the group.
