Both Demant and GN gained slightly in the US public hearing aid sales channel, Veterans Affairs (VA), in October, according to the latest data from the sales channel.

Demant increased its market share - measured by share of total sales - to 18.7% in October from 18.5% the month before.

GN’s market share also grew to 10.1% from 9.9% in September.

The market leader - Swiss Sonova, which also ranks as the world’s largest hearing aid manufacturer - gained some ground as well, while both WS Audiology’s Sivantos and US Starkey declined slightly.

Next month’s data for November may see greater fluctuations in the market as Sivantos, among others, brings new innovation in the form of the top product Signia Integrated Xperience.
