UK competition authority approves principles of amputated Demant deal with Cochlear

After a long and arduous process, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has given the go-ahead for Demant’s proposal for an amputated sale to Australia’s Cochlear.

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has now finally approved a proposal for a scaled-down transfer of Oticon Medical to Australian Cochlear, according to a statement from the CMA.
