WS Audiology finds no negative impact on traditional hearing aids from OTC launch

The new over-the-counter hearing aid market in the US has not yet hurt the conventional business, says WSA CEO Eric Bernard – on the contrary, there have been new customers to gain.

WS Audiology, the world’s third-biggest hearing aid manufacturer, has not noticed any negative impact on conventional hearing aid sales after launching in the fall their first – and cheaper – over-the-counter hearing aids with its partner, Sony.
