GN Hearing lets staff go to optimize supply chain

The hearing aid manufacturer plans to invest around DKK 150m (USD 21.4m) on streamlining its supply chain in 2022. So far, the first DKK 29m (USD 4.1m) has gone to employee dismissals, GN Hearing CEO Gitte Aabo tells MedWatch.

GN Hearing is optimizing its business and paying close attention to its supply chain with the aim of regaining profitability in challenging times, as freight and logistical issues, on top of the Covid-19 pandemic, continue to affect the hearing aid market.
