The world’s biggest hearing healthcare group, Sonova, which is based in Switzerland, must arm itself with patience. It will take longer than expected for the firm to integrate its acquisition of Sennheiser’s consumer division, it reports in a press release.

According to the statement, Sonova is now expecting to complete the acquisition before the end of the financial year 2021/22 – a previous estimate had been within the current calendar year. The delay is due to the integration of the company’s IT systems, which have required more time than first thought.
