American senators behind over-the-counter hearing aid law demand answers from the FDA: When will the sales guidelines be ready?

Two senators who are behind the law about over-the-counter hearing aid sales in the USA are now confronting the FDA directly, demanding to know when the authority will release its guidelines for the use of hearing aids sold without consulting a doctor.
