Biotech firm raises USD 30m for weight-loss candidate

In a seperate investment, Astrazeneca has also committed to injecting USD 80m in the firm over the next two years.

Biotech company Sixpeaks Bio, led by Danish national Philip Just Larsen, has raised more than DKK 200m (USD 30m) for the development of a new weight loss drug, the company writes in a press release mentioned by Børsen newspaper.
