Study exonerates Ozempic and Wegovy for causing suicidal thoughts

The research team behind the study calls for further clinical trials to uncover all potential side effects of semaglutide.

A new study from Case Western University in the US has cleared the diabetes drug and weight loss medication semaglutide, which is included in the products Ozempic and Wegovy, of increasing the risk of suicidal thoughts, Danish business daily Børsen reports.
