Russian companies get license to pirate Novo Nordisk's blockbuster

Diabetes drug Ozempic can now be sold on the Russian market without the consent of the Danish pharmaceutical company.

Russian authorities have issued a license to two Russian pharmaceutical companies that are now able to start producing a pirated copy of Novo Nordisk’s best-selling diabetes drug, Ozempic, reports Danish daily Berlingske, citing online newspaper Moscow Times.
