Novo Nordisk has intensified search for illegal copies of its drugs

Among other measures, the pharmaceutical company is working with an unnamed partner that specializes in monitoring and removing illegal online offers.

Increasing problems with counterfeit versions of Novo Nordisk’s medicines - including the best-selling diabetes drug, Ozempic - have led the Danish pharmaceutical company to intensify the hunt for counterfeit versions of the company’s medicines over the past year, Novo Nordisk states in a written response to MedWatch.
