EMA suspends Spanish contract manufacturer after 60+ GMP violations

There were many things wrong with both research and production conditions when the Spanish Medicines Agency inspected and then suspended a Spanish CDMO in Tarragona.

The EMA has suspended Spanish Serra Pamies Laboratories from producing medicines at the contract manufacturer’s facility in Tarragona, just south of Barcelona, several industry media such as Fierce Pharma and Endpts report. Furthermore, the inspection report is now in the EMA database of breaches of the rules for good manufacturing practice (GMP).
