ALK reached out to main supplier after cases of safety and control breaches

Violations of US drug manufacturing regulations at Catalent have prompted ALK to inquire about conditions at the contract manufacturer, the allergy company’s main supplier.

After repeated breaches of US sterile safety regulations and required quality controls at contract manufacturer Catalent, ALK has been forced to contact the company to find out more about the situation, informs EVP and Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at ALK Christian G. Houghton to MedWatch.
