EMA appoints Steffen Thirstrup as chief medical officer

The former head of the division for medicines assessment and clinical trials at the Danish Health and Medicines Authority, Steffen Thirstrup, has been appointed the new chief medical officer at the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the health authority announced on Wednesday.
