Nine new drugs recommended for approval by CHMP at May meeting

During this month’s meeting of the CHMP, the EMA’s expert committee, a total of nine new drugs have been recommended while six drugs have had indication extensions accepted. Two treatments have been rejected.

At its meeting in May, the European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) expert committee, the CHMP, has given its positive opinion for nine drugs, and has recommended that the indication be extended for four. Only two have not made the cut, according the committee’s meeting highlights.
