Novo Nordisk initiates share buyback scheme and acquires shares from owner

The Danish pharmaceutical giant has started a share buyback program and bought DKK 3.4bn (USD 480m) in shares from its owner, Novo Holdings.

As part of its DKK 24bn (USD 3.4bn) share buyback plan for 2022, Novo Nordisk started the process of acquiring DKK 4.4bn (USD 620m) of its own shares on Wednesday.

SEB bank in Denmark will handle the transactions for Novo Nordisk, which will purchase shares from today, May 4, 2022, until August 2, 2022.
