New vice chair elected to Novo Nordisk board

The former head of Danish utility Ørsted will now occupy the post of vice chair on the board of Novo Nordisk, working closely with Helge Lund, who was re-elected as chairman.

Henrik Poulsen, who was CEO of Danish utility Ørsted from 2012-2020, was elected to the position of vice chair of the Novo Nordisk board of directors after an unsurprising vote on Thursday.

Poulsen had previously announced his candidacy for the post, and he is replacing Jeppe Christiansen, who did not seek re-election, preferring to continue as an ordinary board member.
